This piece was written to display a new take on the orchestra. Used as an avenue for interesting sounds and effects such as clapping and foot stomps, as well as solos and fun hocketing, the piece explores themes such as blues, hip hop, and modern pop music. Of course vastly different from Mozart’s symphony, that is the REJUVENATION of classical music. How many times do you hear high schools obsessing over Tchaikovsky’s 6th symphony? The main brass theme is designed to exploit the pure awesomeness of a brass just going at it. Everyone, no matter what age or musical interest appreciates that.
